Learn to make a drum lampshade in our exclusive workshop here at Eumundi Markets.  Our Christmas class is just what you need to get away for a quite moment, learning a new craft or re-freshing an old one.

Approximately 1.5 hours long.  Booking is essential and can be booked here or through the Original Eumundi Markets Website.

In the class we will be making a 20cm diameter lampshade, so it is easy for you to travel home with.  

Everything you need to make a lampshade is included in this Workshop -

  • 20cm diameter Lampshade ring set kit, can be for a table lamp or pendant
  • A choice of Australian designed and printed fabric
  • Lampshade adhesive paper
  • Double sided sticky tape
  • Glue
  • Trim for inside your shade
  • Lampshade adaptor
  • Instructions
  • Morning tea provided by Eumundi Markets

What you need to bring -

  • Just yourself - this workshop is suitable for all craft levels.
  • Full direction and other information will be send at time of confirmation of booking.

Venue & Parking -

Eumundi Markets are located just inland from Noosa and Coolum on the Sunshine. Coast, Queensland.  There are 2 carparks available at the market and limited street parking. 

Our workshop will be held in the undercover area just inside the first entrance off Napier Street, Eumundi.  We will give you full location instructions upon confirmation of your booking.

This workshop is for ages 16 and above.

Our fabrics are handpicked from collections we love and hope you love them too. A selection of our fabrics are available in in 4 different base cloths, this choice will be available on each given description.

COTTON/LINEN BLEND
Cotton blended with linen for a firmer tough feel, with the look of linen - ideal for lampshades, cushions, curtains and tablecloths, it has a linen look and a cotton feel. Cotton/Linen is a natural fibre and will initially shrink when washed and care needs to be taken to avoid shrinkage on subsequent washes. Shrinkage occurs on the warp and the weft of the fabric (that is to say both directions of the fabric). Shrinkage of 6% to 7% is to be expected. We recommend a warm wash only and minimimal spin.
OUTDOOR 100% POLYESTER
Suitable for outdoor cushions, tablecloths and light upholstery. Shrinkage is minimal with 100% polyesters. We recommend a warm wash only.
100% PURE LINEN
Absolutely gorgeous 100% linen, with a lovely linen feel, soft enough for lampshades, tablecloths, floaty curtains and cushions. A sumptuous polyester, with a great look, but suitable for those heavier jobs - dining chair upholstery and occasional chairs, looks like linen but tougher. Shrinkage is minimal with 100% polyester

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations for example pre-made lampshades due to being too fragile.

When you place an order, we will estimate to have your order ready for shipping within 3 to 4 days, some of our items are made to order, so a few more days is usually needed. If a fabric has to be printed to order this can take up-to 2 weeks if we do not have it readily available in store, but we will advise you of this as soon as we receive the order.

If when you place your order and the shipping does not correspond with the above rates, please contact us to adjust. Sometimes a human error may occur.

We usually ship with Australia Post, Sendle and Fastway/Aramex and tracking details will be forwarded once your order has been shipped.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
