An overview & my typical week

Hi I'm Susy the owner, maker and marketer of I Just Love That Fabric. 

Ive had my little business now for over 11 years, leased various shops in an around the Gold Coast over those years and had an on-line presence since 2008. 

Im now living in rural Queensland which I love, a bit of the country life for me now.

I work from home 3 days a week, fulfilling online orders, making stock and popping to the post office.

My main outlet is now at the infamous Eumundi Market on the Sunshine Coast, just a little inland from the beautiful beaches of Noosa, and Coolum.  I have a permanent market space every Wednesday and Saturday everyweek, come rain, hail and shine.  

I travel just over an hour each way with a car full of lampshades, cushions, bags and art all in my mini.

My fabric collections 

I have had a passion for fabrics all my life and sourcing fabrics I love is my favourite job.  I have a few Australian fabric designers onboard who's surface designs are simply gorgeous.  

I also source textiles from the UK, US and Europe.  You can view my Designers Collection in the menu above.

Handmade by me

The lampshades, cushions, bags and throws are all made by myself, my son helps with the resin art.

Lampshade making workshops

I have taught sewing and lampshade making for over 10 years on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and will soon be teaching lampshade making again on the Sunshine Coast.  

The classes can also be held at local stores in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie areas, just send me a message if you'd like to host a workshop.  Its fun and rewarding all rolled into one.
