Care instructions

Natural Fibres - natural fibre fabrics should be hand-washed in cold water or washed on the gentlest cold cycle of your machine with a low spin, dried inside out in the shade, they should not be bleached, wrung, rubbed or tumble dried. Iron on the reverse side. Phosphate free washing detergent is advisable.

Polyester Fabrics - can be washed in warm water, they should not be bleached, wrung, rubbed or tumble dried. Do not iron. Phosphate free washing detergent is advisable.

 

 

Shrinkage

Natural Fibres like cotton and linen will initially shrink when washed and care needs to be taken to avoid shrinkage on subsequent washes.  Shrinkage occurs on the warp and the weft of the fabric (that is to say, both directions of the fabric).   

Natural Fibres - Shrinkage of 6% to 7% is to be expected.

Polyester Fabrics - Shrinkage is minimal.

Suitable to use for lampshade, cushions, curtains if lined, winter clothing.

 

Polyester Outdoor canvas 260gsm 150cm wide 100% polyester

Suitable for outdoor cushions, light upholstery indoor and outdoor, curtains and blinds.

 

Linen look polyester 380gsm 145cm wide 100% poly with a linen slub look.

Suitable for cushions, medium upholstery jobs like armchairs, stools seats, curtains
