Are your fabrics Australian designed?
Yes, our fabrics are Australian designed and printed in Australia too. (Unless stated otherwise). We use fabrics designed from various Australia artists and textile designers, printed onto premium linen and cotton linen blends. We also stock a selection of fabrics from the USA, UK and European designers.
What fabrics do you use?
We use premium Australian artist designed fabrics, native Australian bird designs, Australian flora designs, tropical ad coastal designs, printed onto cotton linen and linen in Australia. (Unless stated otherwise). We also have a new velvet range for cushions and fabric meterage.
Are your lampshades handmade in Australia?
Yes, all our lampshades are handmade in Queensland using premium l Australian designed fabrics.
Does this lampshade fit Australian lamp bases?
Yes, all our lampshades come with the standard dual fitting the centre hole which is 40mm and has the 27mm hole adaptor too, which fit all Australin lamp bases, so whatever you lamp stand fitting is - our lampshades will fit. We also have the finial fitting available for American lamp stands. This fitting is usually at the top and is 10mm. Contact us to arrange a lampshade to fit this 10mm hole
Are the cushion covers handmade in Australia?
Yes, all our cushion covers are handmade using Australian fabrics, designed and printed in Australia (unless stated otherwise) and made in our studio in Queensland, zipped and overlocked with the same design on both sides. We also have a collection of new luxurious velvet cushions recently launched.
Can I order matching cushions and fabric?
Yes, you can order matching fabric and cushions to compliment your lampshade.
What weight is the cotton linen fabric and the linen fabric?
The fabrics we use are medium weight approx 250gsm, with the exception of the velvel which is a heavier weight and would not be suitable for lampshades.
Can this lampshade be used as a pendant shade?
Yes, each lampshade can be made to be used as a hanging pendant and the adaptor will fit both old and new Australian and overseas ceiling fittings and lamp bases.
How long does shipping take?
We will advise once your order is placed, if we have the fabric ready in stock, then please allow 3 to 7 days as we hand make our lampshades, otherwise we will order the fabric and you can expect to wait approximately 2 weeks, but we will notify you straight away. We ship throughout Australia, we can also ship to New Zealand, USA, UK and Europe.
